The course
This course has been specifically developed for directors, managers and employees of a wide range of institutions, including financial institutions, accounting and administration firms, notary offices, law firms, credit institutions, trust offices, real estate agents and appraisers. The course provides a solid foundation in the principles, legislation and practical application of the Wwft, enabling participants to better manage risks and comply with statutory education requirements.
Recently, several reports have appeared about companies that were fined or reprimanded due to inadequate risk management and negligence in complying with anti-money laundering regulations. For example, De Volksbank is facing a second fine and a notary office received a reprimand due to insufficient training and risk management. These cases underline the necessity of thorough knowledge of the Wwft.
